HELP KEEP THE LIGHTS SHINING BRIGHT
This year and last have proven to be challenging times to the ongoing growth of our nation’s lighthouse preservation and education efforts, and at the center of this history in the making is the Maine Lighthouse Museum and You. Many of our exhibits have improved and continue to be developed. Rockland is an official Coast Guard City which brings even more interest in our exhibits. Exciting news this year as we have welcomed the Park Street Grille into our building. Entrance to the museum is by the door on the right as you face the building. We have lots of new, beautiful items in the Lighthouse Gift Shop, many made locally in Maine.
We are proud and grateful to continue serving as “keepers” of our nation’s largest lighthouse museum – a priceless collection of mementoes that pay tribute to America’s lighthouse heritage and the men, women and children who dedicated their lives to sending out the light. However, we simply cannot fulfill our mission without Your support. Therefore we would like to take this opportunity to ask you to continue your vigilant watch over America’s lighthouse heritage by renewing your membership to the Maine Lighthouse Museum TODAY! Your ongoing support, especially needed in this unsteady economy in the middle of a global pandemic, helps ensure that together we are able to conserve and interpret the Maine Lighthouse Museum’s incredible collection of Fresnel lenses, artifacts, books, and vintage images for future generations.
The Maine Lighthouse Museum’s soul might be the amazing artifact collection that beams forth from the CWO Kenneth Black Exhibition Hall but members like you are the true heart of our efforts! We thank you for your dedication and look forward to renewing your membership to the Maine Lighthouse Museum this year. On behalf of myself and the Board of Directors of MLM, my heartfelt thanks, Be neighborly!
